Previously, at Ubisoft, he was the animation director on the highly acclaimed Far Cry 5. Wilkinson brings more than 15 years of experience and animation talent as he takes over the role of director of animation at 1047. Previous high profile projects for Spina include Batman: Arkham Origins as the senior UI artist at Warner Bros. He also served as the presentation director on the Far Cry Primal and other Far Cry titles. Spina’s previous experience also includes almost eight years at Ubisoft as the visual design director for AAA hit titles Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Extraction and Hyper Scape. Spina boasts more than 16 years of games experience, most recently as the art director at Square Enix Montreal. Joining 1047 are three new directors: Vincenzo Spina has come aboard as the new art director, Dave Wilkinson joins as the new animation director and Corey Andress takes the helm as the new director of player engagement.
